Job Responsibilities

This position is concerned with providing technical support to Operations in the form of enabling and improving the flow of manufacturing utilizing the disciplines of industrial engineering. Assignments range from simple and reactionary in nature to complex and strategic.

* Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control through the application of Lean principles.

* Determines the most efficient sequence of operations and work flow, and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.

* Aid engineers in process improvement or address safety concerns. Limited use and/or application of basic fundamental or technical principles, theories, and concepts.

* Customer Service Orientation – Knowledgeable regarding the process of interacting with customers to provide positive experience and issue resolution.

* Time Management – Maintains an organized daily calendar.

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (Green Card) is required.

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • This position requires a candidate to be able to work on-site part-time throughout the school year. Due to that, this position requires a candidate that is local to the Melbourne, FL area.
