The Commercial Systems Hardware Team seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to participate in the development of Air Transport and BRS hardware products. Initial assignments include the verification of the Boeing 777x Graphics Generator Module (GGM). Future assignments may include design, new product introduction, and factory support. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team of highly motivated engineers designing state-of-the-art, industry-leading avionics hardware products. The applicant should be extremely familiar with all phases of design including requirements capture, digital and analog circuit card design, integration, verification and factory transition.

The applicant should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as close integration with other team members including hardware, software, systems, test and operation is necessary. The selected candidate will support hardware development, requirements capture, board level design and layout, and verification testing in order to satisfy Air Transport and BRS market requirements.

Hardware planning

Integration and qualification testing
Hardware delivery support
Technical coordination with both internal and external customers

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline
Experience with requirements capture
Development experience in analog and digital circuit design and troubleshooting, including work with embedded microprocessors
Hardware circuit simulation and analysis tools
Integration and verification of complex hardware experience
Factory transition experience
Candidate must be a self-starter, able to handle unexpected events and recognize opportunities that can lead to exceeding expectations.
Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills as well as good team building and analytical abilities

Additional experience a plus:
Designing and testing to DO-160 or equivalent EMI/EMC are preferred.
Experience with DO-254 development processes
