This position is located in Manchester, IA. A comprehensive relocation package is available for qualified candidates.

Specific Tasks may include;
* Analysis of products for manufacturability and improvements to resolve design problems
* Transition of new products from development to manufacturing
* Layout of production and support areas
* Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of assembly methods and processes
* Selection, justification, and purchase of equipment
* Utilization of Lean Manufacturing tools to reduce defects and improve processes
* Time studies
* Tooling design
* Resolution of ergonomic and safety concerns
* Preparation of cost estimates for proposed projects and evaluation cost factors
* Utilization of root cause analysis to identify source of defects and take corrective action to resolve defects
* And all other tasks as directed by the Engineering team

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. US Citizenship is required.
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Desired Technical Skills;
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office
* AutoCAD & 3D modeling tools
* Root Cause Analysis
* Experience working within a manufacturing environment
* Facility layout
* Process design
* Basic understanding of software languages
